Holiday Christmas Party 2023!

Wishing you a festive Christmas and joyful holidays from the Faith, Fight, Finish Foundation! This year, Dak and FFF hosted a heartwarming holiday gathering at the enchanting Dallas Arboretum. Joined by students and officers from the PLAY program and Nex
Metropolitan, we came together to spread love through the gift of giving to the kids of Jonathan’s Place.

Our foundation curated special Jordan backpacks filled with Nike and Albertsons gift cards, accompanied by Reese Witherspoon’s Busy Betty and Matthew McCoungahey’s Just Because books, cozy Dallas Cowboy beanies, school supplies, and refreshing Gatorade water bottles. Our
officers of the PLAY program received special one-of-a-kind FAITH hats by True Brvnd.  It was a night of community service and festive spirit!

A heartfelt thank you to Amy Oden for the delectable cupcakes, Blackbeard for the musical enchantment, and Shop Nancy and Dean for the beautiful holiday cards. Lastly, immense gratitude to our FFF steering committee for their unwavering support. Bringing smiles and holiday cheer to these kids’ faces is truly a blessing. What a wonderful way to close out 2023!

Our team at the Faith Fight Finish Foundation brought together students from North Crowley High School and our dedicated law enforcement for an unforgettable start to this incredible initiative.

Through interactive sessions and events, guided by trained instructors and inspiring guest speakers, PLAY is set to empower the next generation of proactive community leaders. With a strategic mentorship ratio of one law enforcement mentor for every two students, PLAY

ensures personalized guidance, fostering a deeper connection between mentors and students. We’re thrilled to embark on this journey of growth, resilience, and gratitude, shaping the leaders of tomorrow. Join us in making a positive impact on our youth!

A very special thank you to Athlete’s First for the fun and interactive tailgate to start the night off just perfectly!

Mesquite Rodeo

An electrifying Saturday night at the Mesquite Rodeo, where the power of unity and determination shone brighter than ever! The Faith Fight Finish Foundation brought together the incredible students from North Crowley High School and our dedicated law enforcement heroes for an unforgettable event of camaraderie and inspiration.

From thrilling rodeo moments to heartwarming conversations, we witnessed the true spirit of togetherness as students and cops bridged gaps and showcased that when we stand side by side, anything is possible.

Some special highlights of the evening included when our honorable police officers surprised the students with incredible gifts – Jordan backpacks filled with school supplies for the year, ensuring a bright start to their educational journey. They also shared the empowering books 'Happy Eyes' by Ryan Tillman and 'The Change Agent' by Damon West, planting seeds of positivity and change in the hearts of these young minds. Tad and his family joined in on the fun and to top it off the kids also received encouraging words from Dak’s dad about the importance of bridging the gap.

Amidst the excitement, we savored the delicious flavors of BBQ that brought us all together and indulged in a delightful FFF cake by Jenny Ozmun that symbolized the sweetness of unity. More to come as we work towards bridging the gap between police and the communities they serve and protect.

Faith Fight Finish 2023 Gala

The Faith Fight Finish Foundation Gala 2023 presented by White Rhino Coffee was a wonderful night celebrating all the work that our founder, NFL Walter Payton Man of the Year,  Dak has accomplished through the 4 pillars of our foundation: colon cancer research, mental health & suicide prevention, bridging the gap between law enforcement, youth and the communities they serve, and offering assistance to those facing life-challenging hardships.

This year the foundation awarded the Thomas Family with the 2023 UPS “Game Changer mAward” for their incredible work with their foundation The Defensive Line that aims to end the epidemic of youth suicide.

Dak’s aunt Valrie “Nanny” was the recipient of the foundations inaugural “Caregiver” award and she accepted it on behalf of all their family members who have come together to care for each other in the toughest times.

Justin Sylvestor brought the laughs as our host an Coffey Anderson kicked off the night playing great songs at our VIP reception! We are so thankful to the generosity in the room during our live auction!

And we got to end the night with the Amazing HARDY! Fresh off his 4 ACMA wins, he captivated us with a very special powerful musical set and we are so grateful to him for donating his time and talent to FFF!

It was a truly a magical night, all in the name of changing and saving lives! Thank you again to White Rhino Coffee for their kindness always and to all our donors and friends that showed up to support our work! We are beyond grateful!
