Go big or go home!
Over the summer, Dak hosted not one, not two, but three youth ProCamps that saw over 3,000 young fans in attendance! “It’s necessary that I do these camps and give back, interact with these kids – try to give them life lessons as well as football lessons and get better in their community and in every way they can,” Dak shared.
Dak’s very first ProCamp was the LARGEST EVER, with 1,400 kids showing up on his old practice field at Mississippi State University. “When we started picking places for camps,” says Dak, “It was a no brainer to come back home and it’s been a great turnout.”
The second pro camp of the summer saw Dak return to his high school alma mater, Houghton High, to greet 700 campers in the place where it all began. “Today shows the love I have for this town and they have for me,” Dak said of the trip to his hometown. “This gives me the opportunity to showcase what I’m trying to do — give back to the kids and change their lives.”
Dak’s final stop was at Lake Dallas High School in Corinth, Texas.
